A Life Restored by Grace
A Story Shared With Purpose.
I am Dr. Rose Maria McCarthy Anding, a woman who has known brokenness, but also a woman who has experienced the restoring power of God.
My life is not a story of perfection. It is a testimony of survival, surrender, healing, and grace. I have walked through painful seasons, made choices that carried consequences, and faced moments when I wondered if my life could ever become whole again.
But God met me there.
He did not wait for me to be perfect. He reached me in the middle of my pain and began restoring what I thought was lost. That grace changed my life, and today, it is the reason I write, speak, counsel, minister, and serve.
My Story
From Pain to Purpose
I did not always know the road I would walk. There were seasons in my life marked by pain, addiction, shame, loss, and deep personal struggle. There were moments when I felt forgotten, moments when I felt too broken to be restored, and moments when I questioned whether my life could still have meaning.
But my story did not end there.
Through God’s mercy, I found strength to rise again. I learned that the past does not have to define the future. I learned that healing is possible, even after years of hurt. I learned that grace can reach places where shame once lived.
Today, I share my story because I believe someone else needs to hear this: no life is too far gone for God to redeem.
Who I Am Today
Author. Minister. Counselor. Speaker. Survivor.
I am an author, minister, counselor, speaker, and survivor. Each part of my work is rooted in faith, compassion, and a desire to help others find hope after hardship.
Through my books, ministry, counseling, and speaking, I use my testimony to reach individuals and families walking through addiction, grief, shame, emotional pain, spiritual confusion, and the difficult process of rebuilding.
I do not speak from theory alone. I speak from a life I have lived, a healing I have experienced, and a God who carried me when I could not carry myself.
My Calling
Helping Others Rise Again
My calling is simple: to help others believe they can rise again.
I have a heart for people who are hurting quietly. I care deeply about women trying to rebuild their lives after addiction, abuse, loss, or shame. I care about families praying for someone they love. I care about individuals who feel unseen, unworthy, or spiritually lost.
My mission is to remind them that they are not forgotten. They are not beyond hope. They are not disqualified from purpose.
God can still restore a life. God can still heal a heart. God can still use the story.
My Book
A Testimony of Survival, Surrender, and Grace
My writing is an extension of my life, my faith, and my desire to help others.
My featured testimony book, High Heels, Honey Lips, and White Powder, is one of the most personal parts of my journey. It tells the story of a woman who walked through deep pain and addiction, but was rescued by grace and called into purpose. I did not write this book to glorify the past. I wrote it to reveal the power of transformation.
I have also written books that speak to children, families, and communities about kindness, respect, faith, and the Golden Rule. Through these works, I want to encourage readers of all ages to treat others with compassion and understand that goodness can begin in everyday choices.
Whether I am writing about survival, restoration, faith, or kindness, my message remains the same: God can use every part of the story.
Through my books, I want readers to know one thing clearly:
Your story is not over.
Ministry & Counseling
A Heart for Healing
My ministry and counseling work come from the belief that people need safe places to be heard, encouraged, prayed for, and guided toward healing.
I understand that restoration is not always instant. Healing can be a journey. Recovery can be difficult. Faith can be tested. But no one should have to walk through those seasons alone.
Through spiritual guidance, counseling, encouragement, and prayerful support, I help individuals and families move toward freedom, forgiveness, strength, and renewed direction.
Speaking & Testimony
Sharing Hope With Every Audience
When I speak, I speak from my heart. I share the truth of what I have lived and the grace that helped me stand again.
My testimony is especially meaningful for churches, women’s groups, recovery communities, conferences, ministries, and organizations that want to bring a message of healing and restoration to their audience.
I speak to the hurting, the recovering, the ashamed, the searching, and the faithful. My message is centered on one truth:
There is life after the fall.
Rose House
Vision
A Place for Women to Begin Again
Rose House is a vision very close to my heart.
My dream is to help create a safe, faith-centered residential home for women recovering from addiction. I want Rose House to be a place where women can heal, receive support, rebuild their confidence, and rediscover their worth.
I know what it means to need grace. I know what it means to need a second chance. Rose House is my way of extending that grace to other women who are ready to begin again.
My
Message
Grace Can Rewrite the Story
If there is one message I want my life to carry, it is this:
- You are not your worst moment.
- You are not the pain you survived.
- You are not the shame you carried.
- You are not beyond restoration.
God can take what was broken and make it meaningful. He can turn pain into purpose, survival into testimony, and a wounded life into a vessel of hope.
I am living proof that grace can rewrite the story.
There Is Still Hope for Your Story
Whether you are here to explore my books, invite me to speak, support Rose House, or simply find encouragement, I am grateful you are here.
My prayer is that my story reminds you that healing is possible, restoration is real, and your life still has purpose.
