Media & Press

Featured Stories, Public Recognition, and Press Mentions

My story has been shared through books, press features, public platforms, and media opportunities because I believe testimony should not stay hidden when it can bring hope to someone else.

Every article, feature, and public moment is another opportunity to remind someone that healing is possible, grace is real, and God can still restore the story.

America Inspire Magazine Feature

A Mother’s Journey Finds Its Light in Times Square

Dr. Rose Maria McCarthy Anding’s story and book were featured by America Inspire Magazine in the article “A Mother’s Journey Finds Its Light in Times Square.” The feature was published on May 13, 2026, under the Inspire category.

The article highlights her Mother’s Day Times Square billboard presentation as more than a promotional moment. It presents the feature as a public celebration of her journey, her book, her courage, and the purpose behind the pages.

It also describes the Times Square presentation as a meaningful visibility moment that can continue supporting her author platform through video, photography, social media, and future publicity.

WebWire Feature

My book, High Heels, Honey Lips, and White Powder, was featured on WebWire in a press release highlighting my journey of redemption, healing, and finding God. The feature shares how my life changed after seasons of addiction, hardship, and hopelessness, and how my testimony encourages readers to believe that God can still bring freedom and restoration.

The press material describes the book as a life-changing journey back to God’s grace, including rehabilitation, renewed faith, and a new purpose guided by God’s love.

Book Feature

High Heels, Honey Lips, and White Powder

A Testimony Shared Beyond the Pages

High Heels, Honey Lips, and White Powder is more than a book. It is my testimony of survival, surrender, recovery, faith, and restoration.

Through this book, I share how God met me in the lowest places of my life and began restoring what I thought was lost. The message of the book is simple: no story is too broken for God to rewrite.

The book has also been listed through my Amazon Author page, where readers can explore my bibliography and available titles.

George Fox University featured my story after I completed my Doctor of Ministry degree at 80 and prepared to help others suffering from addiction. The feature shares part of my journey, including my recovery, my calling, and my desire to use what God restored in my life to serve others.

This recognition is meaningful to me because it reminds me that God can still write new chapters at any age.

High Heels, Honey Lips, and White Powder was announced as part of the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on April 13 to 14, 2019, at the University of Southern California.

This public book appearance gave my testimony another opportunity to reach readers beyond my local community and connect with those who needed hope, faith, and encouragement.
